يهدف الباحث إلى دراسة ظاهرة الحّذف في الجملة الفعليّة ومكملاتها مستخدمًا المنهج الوصفيّ؛ لرصده في أحاديث الأخلاق في الكتب السّتّة من خلال كتب النّحو، وتناولت الدراسة مسألة الاستشهاد بالحديث الشّريف، والحذف في اللغة والاصطلاح، وشروطه وأنواعه، وأغراضه، ثم مواضع الحذف في الجملة الفعليّة ومكوناتها من حيث حذف الفعل، والفاعل، والمفعول به، وحذف الموصوف، والصفة، والحال، والتمييز، والمضاف؛ ودلالة ذلك الحذف، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج.
