The differential cross-sections of heavy-ion transfer reactions have been calculated in terms of the distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) analysis using Woods-Saxon optical model potential. The form factor of the transferred cluster was calculated using the standard separation energy procedure. The calculated angular distributions are found to be in good agreement with the experimental data. The inclusion of the J-dependent absorptive term reproduces quite well the shapes and magnitudes of the cross-section and leads to a better description to the large angle data than the phenomenological Woods-Saxon potential.
