Advanced First Aid Course

Aug 14, 2017 - The International Federation of Medical Students' Association (IFMSA)–Gaza organized "Advanced First Aid Course" for the fifth- and- sixth- level students, in cooperation with Palestine Children's Relief Fund.

Norwegian Physician Dr. Hanne Heszlein-Lossius delivered the course which lasted for six days. The basics of first aid, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, dealing with accidents, burns, and fractures, were discussed in the course. It also included training scenarios on rapid medical intervention and proper handling of various emergency situations.
