Al Azhar University- Gaza (AUG) is the hosting institute for the first International Conference of Applied Medical Sciences (ICAMS-2017).

AUG is an independent non-governmental Palestinian university established in 1991 in the Gaza city. It has been launched to be a non-conventional lighthouse in the course of higher education in Palestine. At present, the AUG is a campus for twelve different faculties introducing mainly undergraduate programs in addition to some postgraduate programs in selected fields.

AUG is one of the leading higher education institutions in the our area. The university mission is based on its vision and core values. The university role is not limited to teaching, research, and community services, but also the university is an instrumental element in the development of all fields: health, cultural, social, economic, scientific and technological. The AUG realizes that the key to success is its ability to significantly contribute to the development of the country.
