AUG Concluded LTD Program

Sep 29, 2016 – Faculty of Education at AUG held a closing ceremony of the projects implemented in Leadership and Teacher Development (LTD) Program, funded by AMIDEAST.

Dr. Mohamed M. Alian, Dean of the Faculty of Education, commenced the ceremony in the presence of Mr. Steven Keller, Director of AMIDEAST in Palestine, Mr. Anees Abu Hashem, AMIDEAST Field Operations Manager in Gaza, and the faculty members and students.

 In his remarks, Mr. keller appreciated the successful cooperation with the faculty and its fruitful outcomes in Professional Certificate in English Language Teaching (PCELT) project and the project of integrating technology into the teaching and learning process.

During the ceremony, Dr. Sumer Abu Shaaban, a faculty member and the only awardee of training PCELT trainers' certificate in Gaza, discussed PCELT project's activities and results. Prof. Dr. Ata Darwish, prof. Dr.Ali Nassar, Dr. Mazen Al Saqqa, and Mr. Montaser Al Halabi presented in details the objectives, phases, and the positive impacts of integrating technology into the teaching and learning process on the students' levels.
