Physics: Prospects and Aspirations

Mar 16, 2017 – The Department of Physics organized a scientific day entitled " Physics: Prospects and Aspirations," in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sami Muslih, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Amal Al Kahlout, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Dr. Midhat Sa'adallah, Dean of Student Affairs; and the faculty staff members and students.

The department students delivered lectures on different sixteenth topics in Physics and Technology such as:  holographic telepresence, Big Bang theory, Felix jump, superstring theory, dark matter, and time travel. The students also presented (What If), (Dialogue between Tesla and Edison) and (Why) to discuss several topics.

This event came as part of the extracurricular activities of the Department of Physics that aim to broaden the students' prospects and enhance their public speaking skills.
