The Fifth Scientific Legal Conference Launched




Aug 2, 2016 – The Faculty of Law at AUG announced launching the fifth refereed scientific "Legal Confrontation to the Electronic Development," in cooperation with the Legal Clinic among "New Visions for Legal Education Development Project" and in partnership with SAWASYA’ UNDP/UNWOMEN Joint Program" Strengthen the Rule of Law: Justice and Security for the Palestinian people".

The conference, scheduled next February 2017, aims to (i) update the criminal law system to protect the individual's and public's electronic activities, (ii) create a new legislative environment for ensuring the legitimacy of the e-government system, the electronic management system, and applications associated with them, (iii) activate the role of civic legislator toward electronic civic transactions and develop its own legal regulation, (iv) and updated laws concerning the judicial authority and its different organs and facilities, in line with new ideas and theories created by the electronic evolution on the judicial system.

The scientific committee of the conference will consist of distinctive academics, judges and lawyers from different Arabic counties; Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq to advance and promote scientific research and community service.
