AUG and PMRS Sign Joint Cooperation Agreement

Aug 22, 2016 –In terms of promoting the joint cooperation between AUG and community institutions, an agreement signed between AUG and Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS), aimed to enhance the mutual collaboration in scientific research, studies, consulting, conferences, seminars and programs related to scientific research.

  The agreement was signed by Dr. Khaled Abushab, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences and Dr. Aed Yaghi from PMRS, in the presence of Dr. Mazen Hamada, President of the Board at University Presidency, Dr. Mohammed Naser, Head of Physical Therapy Dept. , Dr. Ahmed  Najim , Head of Nursing Dept. , Mr. Ashraf Shaqalaih, Head of  Laboratory Medicine Dept., and Mr. Jamil Shaqura from IR Unit at AUG as well as Dr. Mohammed Abu Afash, Laboratories Director and Dr. Bassam Zaqout , Projects Manager at PMRS.

According to the signed agreement, PMRS is going to train the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences students in different training fields. Furthermore, the two parties are going to cooperate in the scientific research through facilitating equipment, samples, and data before the researchers of students and academics. They also agreed on delivering joint specialized scientific lectures, workshops, seminars and conferences.
