Faculty of Pharmacy Enhances Its Ties with Arab -German Pharmaceutical Company

Aug 24, 2016 – A delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy at AUG visited German-Arab Pharmaceutical Company in its HQ in Deir al-Balah.

The delegation consisted of Prof. Dr. Ali An Najar, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Kanan Wahedy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the faculty staff members. They were all received by Mr. Hamdy Tabaza and the working staff in the company.

The visit aimed to further the cooperation with the German-Arab Company in joint scientific research, through opening the company's laboratories for scientists, researchers and faculty students in order to increase the scientific level of the pharmaceutical industry in Palestine.

At the end of the visit, Mr.Tabaza accompanied the delegates in a tour of the company's various departments, explaining the progress of pharmaceutical industry in the company as well as the challenges to keep abreast despite all the difficulties and obstacles facing this field in the Gaza Strip
