PUM Country Coordinator Visited AUG

Nov 2, 2016 –Mr. Coen van Haeringen, Country Coordinator at PUM Netherlands Senior Experts Organization and Mr. Bakeer Al Rayes from Netherlands Representative Office to Palestine visited AUG.

Dr. Ahmed Abu Shaban, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Mazen Hamada, President of the Board- University Presidency; Dr. Wael Mousa, Head of Food Technology Dept.; and Mr. Jamil Al Zaneen, Director of Beit Hanoun Farm welcomed the two visiting delegates.

The delegates discussed the faculty's needs as well as the difficulties it faced in light of the critical economic situation in the Gaza Strip. They also examined the possibilities of a potential cooperation with PUM Netherlands Senior Experts Organization, funded by the Dutch government to provide technical expertise and consulting services in the field of educational and technical development in the Middle East.
