AUG Received NEO Director
Nov 30, 2016 – Dr. Nedal Jayousi, National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) Director visited AUG.
Dr. Jayousi was received by Prof. Dr. Sami Muslih, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Alian, Dean of Faculty of Education; Dr. Mohammed Fares, Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences; Dr. Mo'omen EL-hanjouri, Dean of Admission and Resignation; Prof. Dr. Usama Zaineldeen, Assistant of Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Mazen Hamada, President of the Board - University Presdiency and Dr. Belal Al Bashiti, Erasmus+ Coordinator in AUG.
In his welcoming remarks, prof. Muslih appreciated Dr. Jalousie's efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and promote mobility and academic cooperation through Erasmus+ Office, applauding AUG's production in the field of mutual scientific cooperation with research institutions.
Dr. Jayousi explained Erasmus+ 2017 Call for Proposals, mainly in mobility and capacity-building in the field of higher education and its positive impact in improving the professional competencies and reinforcing a network of relations with the international community, especially European universities.
The attendees discussed opportunities offered by Erasmus+ Program to enhance the mutual cooperation promote between Palestinian and European universities and promote scientific research. They also went on to discuss the main obstacles facing researchers in the besieged Gaza Strip to participate in programs funded by the EU.
