Al Azhar Medical Day

Feb 19, 2017 – The Faculty of Medicine at AUG and the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA-Gaza) held a free medical day.

The medical day was organized in cooperation with Gaza Ophthalmic Center, Global Dental Center and Blood Bank Association.  Dr. Moahmed Salama, AUG Trustees; Dr. Marwan Al Agha, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs; and Dr. Esmat Abu Asaker, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in addition to a number of AUG Council members.

The day included free medical examination including ophthalmic examination, diabetes examination, dental examination, vital functions and blood type examination,   dermatological examination, and clinical nutrition for AUG staff and students.

This voluntary activity is part of activities series implemented by IFMSA-Gaza to promote healthcare awareness in the Gaza Strip.
