Director of QC office in the Gaza Strip Visited AUG

Apr 17, 2017 – Eng. Mohammed Abu Haloub, Director of Qatar Charity Office in the Gaza Strip visited AUG.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Khaliq El Farra, AUG President applauded the tremendous efforts of QC to continuously support various development projects and university services. He stressed AUG's utmost keenness to develop its academic programs in order to enable its students to excel in their fields of specialization.  

In his turn, Eng. Abu Haloub expressed his pleasure on his visit to AUG, confirming the need to strengthen the partnership with the Palestinian educational institutions and the local community to reinforce the development of education in Palestine.

During the meeting, the attendees discussed some development projects in the academic and research fields. They also examined the challenges facing AUG, especially in light of the deteriorating economic conditions and the siege imposed for years.
