AUG Community Rallied In Solidarity with Palestinian Prisoners

Apr 25, 2017 – Hundreds of AUG staff members and students launched a rally in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners who embarked an open-ended hunger strike a week ago in Israeli prisons.

 The supporters commenced the rally from AUG main campus and marched to a solidarity tent located in Al Saraya Square, center of Gaza City.

They carried placards and banners supporting hunger-striking prisoners in their heroic battle for freedom and dignity, with the participation of Dr. Abdulrahman Hamad , Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Abdel Khaliq El Farra, AUG President; Dr. Ahmed Al Tayyan, Head of Personnel Syndicate; and Dr. Jabir Al Daour.
