AUG, PFESP Sign MoU

Aug 29, 2017 – A high- level delegation from the Palestinian Fund for Employment and Social Protection of Workers (PFESP), headed by Ms. Ibtisam Husary, Executive Director of PFESP visited AUG. Mr. Imad Hussein, Projects Bank, Studies and OSS Manager; and Mr. Mohammed Abuzaiter, Director of PFESP in Gaza accompanied Ms. Husary in the visit.

Prof. Dr. Sami Muslih, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Dr. Usama Zaineldeen, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Dr. Mazen Hamada, President of the Board- University Presidency welcomed the delegates.

 The visit aim to sign a joint Memorandum of Understanding to (i) exchange the outputs of MA theses and research of AUG related to fields of common interest, (ii) direct MA theses toward market research needs, (iii) develop scientific research, (iv) develop entrepreneurial programs and ideas to promote the economy and increase job opportunities for AUG graduates, (v) and build the capacities of agricultural students and help them launching their own productive projects.
