AUG Receives A Delegation from the Palestinian Supreme Commission of Clans and Dignitaries in the Gaza Strip

October 9, 2018 - AUG hosted a delegation of the Supreme Commission of Palestinian Clans and Dignitaries.

The delegation consisted of Abu Salman Al-Mghany, Head of the Supreme Commission of Clans, several dignitaries and reformers including Mr. Saif Abu Ramadan, in the presence of Prof. Hani Nejm, University President, Prof. Ibrahim Abraash, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and several members of the Board of Trustees and the University Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, Eng. Hatem Abu Shaaban, Secretary of the Board of Trustees welcomed the attendees, and gave them a detailed explanation about the university, its colleges and departments in addition to its competitive advantages.

Prof. Ibrahim Abraash, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, welcomed the guests and expressed his happiness with such a visit that indicates the deeply strong relationship between the university and the Palestinian community in all its components. He hoped that this visit would be the beginning of continuous cooperation.

For his part, Al-Mghany express his gratitude to the University for its efforts in serving the Palestinian community, stressing that the protection of the university is a national duty.

Mr. Abu Ramadan praised the great role played by the university towards developing the Palestinian academic performance, adding that the Commission has the honour to cooperate with the university at all levels.
