A Seminar on Safe Agriculture by The Faculty of Agriculture and Environment

October 15, 2018 - The Faculty of Agriculture and Environment at AUG organized a seminar entitled "The Possibility of Implementing Safe Agriculture in the Gaza Strip" which is considered as part of series of seminars that took place during the period (8th – 14th) October 2018.

The seminar was attended by several faculty members as well as several agricultural engineers and interested parties.

During the seminar, Dr. Ahmad Abu Shaaban, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Environment presented the results of a research study aimed at assessing the potential of safe agriculture in the Gaza Strip, in which the production system was analysed at three levels: Production level, Enterprise level and Market level.

At the end of the seminar, Dr. Abu Shaaban highlighted that the dissemination of the concept of safe agriculture would lead to activate a more sustainable agricultural sector.
