Governor of Gaza Visits AUG

October 16, 2018 - Dr. Ibrahim Ibrach, Chairman of Board of Trustees at AUG and Members of the Board, received Mr. Ibrahim Abu Al Naga, Governor of Gaza City, Dr. Amani Al-Qurm, Governor Advisor for Political Affairs, and Mr. Ahed Farwana, Media Officer.

Dr. Ibrach welcomed and thanked the guests for the kind visit and reassured them that the university is steadfast despite the financial crisis that it is going through, he also stressed that the university is and will remain for all Palestinians.

For his part, Mr. Abu Al Naga congratulated Dr. Ibrach on his new position and praised the role of the Board of Trustees in maintaining the stability of the University, he stressed that AUG is still the focus of the attention of President Mahmoud Abbas, he also highlighted that supporting the university is a national duty on each capable entity.

At the end of the visit, Mr. Abu Al Naja received and indeed deserved the university honorary shield, in recognition of his efforts and beneficial deeds towards Palestine in general and AUG in particular.
